PRIMA ENGINEERING INDUSTRIES was
started in 1984 for the manufacture of biscuit and bread machinery.
This company employs professional people including skilled
machinists, fitters, engineers, commercial staff. The company
has a large manufacturing area with the requisite machine
tools. Most of the fabrication and machining of parts is done,
in-house with a separate area for assembling the machines.
All machines are checked before dispatch.

- Mr. K.B.Kale is a mechanical and electrical
engineer and has served in Germany for 4 years in companies
like M. A. N. , S.W.F. Boehringer. Afterwards he joined
M/s Brady and Morris. This firm manufactured bakery machinery
in collaboration with Baker Perkins, U.K. He served here
for 13 years. Next he joined Britannia Biscuits Co. which
is the largest biscuit manufacturer in India. Here he
was in charge of Engineering Development for 3 years.
Upon leaving, he founded his own manufacturing firm Prima
Engineering Industries.
- Mr. R. K. Kale is a mechanical engineering
graduate who manages the day to day affairs of the company
for the last eight years. He has done a training course
in Dornier GmbH, Germany on management techniques.
Both the partners visit regularly the International Bakery
Machinery Exhibitions like IBA and INTERPACK to keep in touch
with the latest technical advances.
The company regularly supplies machinery to two of the biggest
Biscuit manufacturers in India viz.
BRITANNIA INDUSTRIES
LIMITED and
PARLE BISCUITS LTD.and
also other medium and small bakeries . In fact, you can find
Prima's machinery working in almost all the majorstates in
India.
The company has recently started exporting machinery outside
India. Prima can provide good after sales service and can
also install and commission the Machines.
